The Kardashev scale measures a species by the energy it can command. We spell it with a C, because energy alone was never the whole story. Cardashev is a home for the ideas, tools and stories that carry a civilization from one planet toward the stars.

Every great leap in history has leaned on the same six pillars. Together they are the grammar of a civilization that refuses to stay small.
Colony
Life that does not fit on one rock. Every frontier begins as a settlement: ocean floors, orbital habitats, Mars, and whatever comes after.
Compute
The new energy. Thought, now manufactured at scale, turns raw power into discovery, design and decisions.
Cosmos
The arena. Stars are batteries, galaxies are supply chains, and the universe is the longest-running problem set we have.
Consciousness
The reason any of it matters. Experience, human and perhaps otherwise, is what gives expansion a purpose.
Creation
The verb that binds the rest. We do not merely inherit the future; we make it, one tool, story and system at a time.

In 1964 Nikolai Kardashev proposed ranking civilizations by the energy they harness. Cardashev keeps the ladder and adds the climb.
